It’s Time for Students to Apply for Communication Graduate Assistantships for Fall 2010!

Students and potential graduate students in Communication Arts who are interested in receiving a graduate assistantship which will begin in Fall 2010 should complete the application form for graduate study and an assistantship now. Forms are available online from the APSU College of Graduate Studies at www.apsu.edu/cogs/forms.htm/.

Graduate assistantships in the Communication Department deal with audio and video production, radio station WAPX-FM, Web design, public relations writing and newsletter editing, sports broadcasting, and more. This is a great time to apply for both the graduate assistantship and graduate studies for an M. A. in corporate communication from APSU. Dr. Parcells offers a step-by-step How to Build A Research Paper for graduate students in the corporate communication M. A. program coming soon to DrParcells.org.

This includes a sections on selecting a topic, the proper use of the Woodward Library online resources, conducting a literature review, developing practical research methodology, and important considerations when studies deal with human subjects causing delays in investigations due to the APSU Institutional Review Board approval process.
